Ryan Campbell, SRA
Chief Appraiser/Owner

Ryan began pursuing an appraisal career in 2003, where he apprenticed with a premiere appraisal office in Scottsdale, AZ. There, he received excellent training in all residential types: single family, condo, 2-4 plex, vacant land, horse properties, large acreage, unincorporated county islands, luxury properties including the high-end areas of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, modern/contemporary homes, historic districts, unique and complex assignments, in addition to REO & short sale/per-foreclosure assignments, also known as distress sales.

In 2008, Ryan branched off and started his own firm, "Ryan Campbell Appraisals." In late 2015, the company's growth dictated a change in direction, and Ryan Campbell Appraisals became OnPoint Appraisals. OnPoint has become a successful residential appraisal firm located in downtown Gilbert, AZ, actively covering most of Maricopa and Pinal counties.   

Current clients vary from select, professional appraisal management companies, attorneys, local realtors and brokers, and many general public clients from web-driven sources. Many of his current clients are referrals based on hard work, persistence, effective communication, and on-time delivery, in addition to adequate and descriptive narrative in every report.

Ryan & the OnPoint staff take pride in every appraisal assignment accepted and ensure their competency by staying in tune with current market conditions and events and with USPAP Standards. Ryan also works directly with several real estate brokerages and assists with their marketing by speaking at their quarterly classes for realtors about the appraisal profession, specifically teaching about the concept of market value, appraiser-realtor interaction, comparable analysis, and advice.

In late 2017, Ryan was awarded the Appraisal Institute’s prestigious SRA professional membership designation. Appraisers holding the SRA designation have met rigorous education requirements and demonstrated extensive knowledge of residential valuation. The SRA designation indicates proficiency in residential appraising and is awarded to less than 2% of all appraisers in North America.

Matthew Faubion
Certified Residential Appraiser

Matthew Faubion is a Certified Residential Appraiser with OnPoint Appraisals. He obtained his certification in 2015 from the State of Arizona and began his appraisal apprenticeship in 2012 with OnPoint, formerly Ryan Campbell Appraisals. He is currently on the HUD-approved appraiser roster to perform FHA appraisals.

Matthew has experience appraising throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and a multitude of property types. He is knowledgeable in appraising single-family tract homes, custom luxury homes, horse properties, manufactured homes, and multi-family properties. He can perform appraisal work for lenders, real estate agents, lawyers, and the general public.

Matthew is an Arizona native. He was born in Glendale and moved to the East Valley in 2001. He played basketball for Phoenix College and then transferred to Arizona State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. Outside of his professional career, Matthew and his wife Amanda raise a daughter and son.

Shawn Kearney
Certified Residential Appraiser

Shawn Kearney is a Certified Residential Appraiser with OnPoint Appraisals. He was licensed in 2004 and became certified in 2006. He is also FHA-approved. Shawn joined the OnPoint team in 2017 and is enjoying the collaborative, professional work environment.

Shawn has over 14 years of experience appraising diverse property types ranging from complex, high-value properties to new-build starter homes, manufactured homes, condominiums, and townhouses. Shawn’s prior work includes completing appraisals for lenders, lawyers, real estate agents, and homeowners. Shawn’s long history in appraisal means he is at home in any market condition, including market increases and declines.

He is an Arizona native who grew up in Avondale, a small farming town on the edge of Phoenix. Outside of his work as an appraiser, Shawn enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing with his wife, Beth, and their dogs.
